My personal views of leadership are many and can differ depending on the setting and situation that needs a leader. There are a few qualities that I feel every leader, no matter what the situation, should possess. The leader needs to be morally sound, consistent, embrace a vision, communicate effectively, confident, respectful of others and credible. It is difficult to identify good leaders without the person attempting a leadership position. A person may possess all of these qualities but not be able to use them in combination to be an effective leader. The most important of my views of a leader is credibility because if the team can not believe or trust their leader, then the respect is loss and so is the ability to lead this group.
